Our AI Policy

It's been over a year since our last blog post.
Not because we ran out of things to say, but because we've been heads-down actually building the game instead of posting corporate jargon.

As we approach our 2028 launch goal and hopefully begin hiring, we want to be very clear about where we stand on AI:
AI is not allowed for any work on the project.
All code, art, music, design, writing, etc. must be 100% human-created.

Why we take this stance

  • We optimize for quality and soul, not trends or speed.
  • This is a game development studio, not a content-slop factory.
  • We believe preserving real craft and low-level skills matters, especially as they're becoming rarer.
  • Most importantly: We're working with highly confidential information.

Feeding any project-related material into AI tools would be a direct violation of our NDAs.
This is grounds for immediate termination and, in serious cases, legal action.

Personal use is fine.
Translation, generic research, brainstorming your own side projects, or asking an LLM to explain a concept, that's your business.
But anything that touches the actual game is off-limits.
